Our Court Builder
Bar Midani
Bar Midani is a third generation sports facility builder in Israel. His grandfather, who made aliyah from Yemen to Beit Dagan, Israel, was one of the first people to build sports fields in Israel.
Bar who grew up in Rishon Lezion and now lives in Rosh Haayin, was inspired with the idea for project_pro.m after seeing young boys doing graffiti on a school. The janitor had caught the boys and had made them paint over the graffiti. The boys continued to paint the wall long after they had covered the graffiti. Bar asked them why they continued to paint the wall. They told him “it’s fun.”
Form there the idea of painting courts togther with the community was born. Bar realized the importance of building shared space together inorder to instill a feeling of ownership and mutual responsibility for the place.
Bar has built and painted courts throughout Israel. To this day kids come up to him in the streets and tell him how proud they are they painted their court together.
Home Court values Bar and his families knowledge, connections, and sport building legacy in Israel and is excited to bring this concept to the global Jewish community.
